Expozice litografických plakátů Alfonze Muchy v Chrudimi. V našem pojetí expozice jsme se snažili, aby návštěvník kontemploval a mohl se plně soustředit na umělecká díla. Proto je pro nás důležitá atmosféričnost dvou sálů, které jsme rozdělili do dvou barev. Každý sál je monochrom jednoho odstínu. V úvodním světle zeleném sálu se odkazujeme na florální motivy a východiska secesního umění. V druhém sále je šedorůžový odstín doplňující uhrančivost a částečně i intimitu Muchových děl. První sál je půdorysně členěný tak, aby divák mohl objevovat co se skrývá za jakým rohem a druhý sál je otevřený s možností posezení a prodlení. 

Tvarově nám byla jednou z inspirací fotografiie historické expozice Muchových plakátů roku 1933 pořízená i s centrálně sedícím Muchou přímo v chrudimském muzeu. Jednoduchá paneláž je zde orámována dřevěnými lištami a tvoří pomyslný rám pro vystavené exponáty. Stejné orámování scén jsme zvolili i my a doplnili je o samostojné podstavy vyrobené z dubového masivu. Proporčnost a měřítko podtrhují válcové nohy soustružené ze stejného materiálu.

Exhibition of lithographic posters by Alfons Mucha in Chrudim. In our concept of the exhibition, we tried to make the visitor contemplate and be able to fully concentrate on the works of art. Therefore, the atmosphere of the two halls, which we divided into two colors, is important to us. Each hall is a monochrome of one shade. In the introductory light green hall, we refer to floral motifs and the origins of Art Nouveau. In the second hall, the gray-pink shade complements the enchantment and partly the intimacy of Mucha’s works. The first hall is divided in plan so that the viewer can discover what is hidden around the corner, and the second hall is open with furniture for the possibility of lingering.

In terms of form, one of our inspirations was a photograph of the historical exhibition of Mucha’s posters from 1933, taken with Mucha sitting in the center right in the Chrudim museum. The simple paneling is framed here with wooden moldings and forms an imaginary frame for the exhibits on display. We chose the same framing for the scenes and supplemented them with freestanding bases made of solid oak. The proportionality and scale are emphasized by cylindrical legs turned from the same material.
